Space Office Complex will be specifically provided for this purpose with facilities of Internet / E-mail / Display Boards exhibiting ruling market price of raw jute/mesta at these Jute markets of India as also at the Terminal Market at Kolkata.

Growers outside the catchment area of the market facilities would be provided with information through Newspaper/All India Radio/Doordarshan/Cable TV network etc.

Raw Jute market information would be collected by JCI through its field network and the information collected would be updated at the web site regularly for the benefit of the users.

Activation of futures market would be another component and relevant information would be provided to the growers regarding the future trend of raw jute/mesta price enabling them to take prudent marketing decisions for disposal of their produce.
