The following will be the functions and responsibilities of the Project Management Committee:
1. Approval of details project reports of various sub components of MM-III & IV.
2. Submission of proposal to the Apex Empowered Committee for approval wherever necessary.
3. Monitoring the progress of various schemes.
4. Submission of periodic reports to the Ministries / Mission Directorate.
5. Coordinating implementation of various sub schemes of MM-III and MM-IV among various agencies.
6. Conducting periodic surveys and instituting periodic studies to evaluate various subs schemes under MM-III & MM-IV.
7. Suggesting suitable modifications to the High Powered Committee wherever desirable for smooth implementation of the sub schemes.
